Two-Hour Wait, Wrong Tires, and Broken Promises ⭐️ 1-Star Review I had an extremely frustrating experience with the service department at Bluebonnet Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in New Braunfels. I had previously ordered two new tires for my Jeep through the dealership. I originally had an appointment I couldn't make, so I rescheduled for Monday because I specifically wanted to have the tires installed that day. When I arrived, I handed over my keys, explained why I was there, and reminded them which tires I had ordered. Since the tires had already been ordered, I expected a simple installation. Instead, I waited two hours before anyone told me they couldn't find the tires and apparently didn't even have them. I was told they would need to reorder them. My question was simple: Why wasn't I told this when I arrived? If the tires weren't there, someone should have checked immediately. Instead, I wasted two hours of my time while they were supposedly "looking for the tires." The Service Director then spoke with me, walked me to my Jeep, shook my hand, and explicitly told me he would take care of the situation and make it right. I expected him to follow up personally. Instead, about five hours later, someone from the service department called to tell me the tires had arrived. When I asked if the Service Director was calling me, I was told he had simply instructed the employee to call. Then things got worse. While I was at work, the Service Director sent me a photo of the tires they had obtained and told me they were the correct size. When I checked, I discovered they were not my tires. My vehicle had already been at the dealership for two hours, I had been given incorrect information, and now they had obtained the wrong tires again. The Service Director again told me they would get the correct tires and make everything right by the end of the day. That didn't happen. Their plan was to install the tires the following morning. Since I did not want someone showing up at my house at 7:00 AM to pick up my Jeep without proper communication, I called the service department after hours and spoke with the receptionist. I specifically asked her to make sure they knew not to come to my house at 7:00 AM. She told me she couldn't do that and there was no way she could communicate the message. I suggested leaving a note, sending an email, or putting a note on the Service Director's desk. She put me on hold for about two minutes and then came back and said she could try to leave a note. My question is: Who did she have to ask for permission to leave a note? The next morning, the Service Director texted me saying he could not honor our agreement because the correct tires were a different price and I would have to pay the difference. After waiting more than 24 hours for what should have been a simple tire change, I was now being asked to pay more because they had failed to get the correct tires in the first place. This entire experience was a failure of communication, accountability, and follow-through. I understand that mistakes happen. What I don't understand is how a customer can wait two hours without being told the tires aren't there, then be sent a photo of the wrong tires and told they're correct, be promised the situation will be fixed by the end of the day, wait another day, and ultimately be told to pay more because of the dealership's mistake. I did not create this problem, yet I was the one left waiting, inconvenienced, and expected to pay more to fix it. One star. I expected much better communication, accountability, and customer service from the service department.

As much as I absolutely hate the process of purchasing a vehicle, I had a really great experience here! Mike Campbell helped me trade in my Challenger and get the exact truck I wanted. I had my heart set on a specific color, and he made it happen. I had previously tried Dodge in San Marcos, and it was a complete waste of time. They didn't take me seriously and made me feel like I was wasting their time. It was a completely different story at Bluebonnet! If you're in the Austin or Kyle area, I definitely recommend driving a little farther to do business here!

My husband and I have purchased from BB CDJR before and loved the experience, so we returned a second time. Jorge is our favorite sales manager there- he's personable, no B.S., and works his hardest with his team to get us into a vehicle. We worked with Nick in finance who gave us options to help facilitate a way we could sell our current vehicle to a family member while purchasing our own new vehicle (which we weren't aware of from a previous visit to another dealership), and Rodney - our salesman- made sure we stayed comfortable in the heat while looking for vehicles and was so easy to talk to and have a great shopping experience with. BB CDJR has a lot going for them in terms of their staff and selection.

He was very knowledgeable, friendly honest straightforward in a pleasure to deal with probably the best vehicle buying experience I’ve ever had and would recommend that anybody ask for him when they go to Bluebonnet Dodge. He was very accommodating in allowing us to drive the truck home to make sure it fit into our garage before we purchased it. The whole team at Bluebonnet Dodge was outstanding. I have always hated car dealerships, but this place has definitely changed my perspective on that.
